All gifts – large, small, or in between – help us further our mission to support and enhance the Amador County Library’s value to our community. There are many options for you to make a difference.

  • Use the form below to make an online donation

  • Contribute books and other items.
  • Become a member of the Friends (if you’re not one already).

  • Honor a special occasion such as a birthday, graduation, holiday, or anniversary.

  • Make a memorial contribution to honor a loved one or friend. Their family will receive an acknowledgment recognizing the donor and and a gift bookplate will be placed in the book(s) of your choice.

  • Leave a legacy for the future. Remember FACL in your Will or Trust. Even a small percentage designated for FACL can make a difference for the library.

  • Consider a charitable gift through a donor-advised fund with securities or other options. A planned gift to FACL can have an impact on the future of the library and can save you significant costs in taxes.

  • Become a sponsor or partner for a FACL or library program, or provide in-kind (goods or services) donations from your business. Contact us to learn what’s on our wish list and what’s in the pipeline, and to bring us your ideas.

Contribute Books and Other Items

  • We welcome donations large and small of new and gently used books, games, puzzles, and CDs/DVDs. These will be on sale at our twice-yearly Books Sale. A small selection is also on sale at the Jackson library.
  • For larger donations, or you need help getting your items to us, please contact us.
  • Bring your small donations of books, games, puzzles, and CDs/DVDs to a local drop-off box close to your home. The boxes are at these locations:

    • Bank of Marin, 26395 Buckhorn Ridge Road, Pioneer
    • El Dorado Savings Bank, 460 State Hwy 49, Sutter Creek

Remember: We can only take books in sellable condition, including old classic books and children’s books. No stains, broken spines, odors, underlining, highlighting, or handwriting or markings of any kind (except author autographs). We also take CDs and DVDs with no scratches and in their original packaging, and puzzles and games with all pieces.
